I'm writing this with an orange cat in my lap.....68 years of being a dog person( Herding dogs, Border Collies and Heelers, dogs that will outsmart you if you let them.) and I got a cat////I've lost it....I'm ashamed of myself....
I thought I'd let you know what is going on.
Going to be fairly busy the next few weeks, days, through the holidays, however you want to describe it.
I know I owe several of you return phone calls. It seems like I am actually busy when people call and I need to return their phone call, and when I think of it it is generally about 3-4am and I doubt you want me calling you then.
Generally during this time, readership....Well, it drops off. People have parties, shopping, cooking, family to visit, football to watch, whatever.....So, I am going to limit the amount of blogs during this time period. I know it is doctor visit the next few weeks for me. Including one tomorrow morning. ( Now something massive will happen, and I'll be doing 3 blogs a day.....You never know.....)
Was asked if I still pray and if I'll pray for them at 4am.......Of course, just let me know. I still have a list.
(Side note- Just saw a geophysicist talk about us possibly seeing the Northern Lights again on either Dec. 8th or 9th.... )
And here is what the blog is really about.
I received a message from Blogger, the platform I write my blogs on saying that I am right at my 15th year of blogging.
In truth, I always thought I would have been done with this about 6 months in. As I make no bones about, I get bored rather easily.and I am always looking at some sort of stimulus to engage my brain. ( And I have a cat in my lap, am writing this, and have headphones on blasting G.F. Handel's " The Messiah." It is Christmas after-all. And I like to pretend I am " High Church" .....Pretend....)
We realize and understand the blog often upsets people. I know people think it is too negative. I know people get upset when I tell things that leadership intends to keep quiet about.
And I am not going to lie, it is often tough to do so.
While I am not probably going to sit around a fire and drink whisky with most of you,( I don't know, you get a good bottle 12+ years old of Scotch or Irish, I may need to help you "taste test it.") I don't want people to do like they did to pod-caster Tim Poole and shoot up my home. And some folks, well, they " Just ain't right."
Thank you for reading. Seriously. I have regular readers and well, I pretty much write for you.
I'll be posting sporadically over the next few weeks. I'll be mostly here in Orange County. I know sometime I have to go to Houston for a gathering. ( Not sure if Reid and April, AKA Yu Zhou are coming home. Her grandmother is very, very ill and she may be going back to the "Old Country" to see her while she can, and she needs to do so, and of course, Reid needs to go with her.)
Again, let me reiterate, thank you for reading and always, if you have any information, I will take a hard look at it, and most of the time, write on it. Sometimes, I may not write on it until a later date. There's a reason behind why....Please understand my methods.
