Dear Gentle Readers,
It happens.
I get ahead of a story before it is "set in stone."
It is now my understand that the board has decided AGAINST tattoos....The word on nose rings, well, the jury is still out.( Don't plan on those either)
And, I am not shocked.
Sorry, if I got your hopes up, but according to the source...
"Tattoos for sure are out because the board was concerned about the legality of it all. Even comments and concerns on "kitchen " tattoos becoming infected and would the school be responsible?"
" The
board was worried that since kids must be 18 to get one without
parental consent that kids would get them anyway and the school could be
liable for allowing it in the first place."
Hey, won't be the first time I mess up, and won't be the last....At least I am not like the Washington Post or New York Times and bury it in Section D: Page 33.
And was sent this-
" You
didn't mess up. The two principals said in the meeting they were
allowing it. Apparently behind the scenes things were changed. I guess
the principals will have to deal with kids after all."
