The University of Michigan's Head Football Coach was fired yesterday, for cause, for having an affair with his Executive Assistant.....
Rumor is, he got her pregnant.
The story was even on the Economic Times. The Times of India.
IT is undefeated.
Lost a job paying $6 million a year, under a contract that would have paid him $30 million over the lifetime of the agreement.
Lost his damn mind......Over a blonde....And I saw a picture of his wife. A really cute blonde.
I'm not a blonde "guy" always have like nerdy girls with dark hair, blue eyes, and glasses. The nerdier the better, and did I marry a nerd. Thinks math is " fun." Best thing ever happened to me.
And then, Michigan's Coach gets detained by local police for an alleged threat against his wife.
Fired,arrested, and probably losing his wife in one day.......
Men, you got a wife, a girlfriend......Mess with them. It's why they are with your sorry-ass.
- Yesterday, I posted the remark that an ex-student's husband was a handsome lad.
I even performed their wedding. When I met him, I said to myself, "Man, she landed a good-looking guy." ( And she is a sweetheart cutie...a character and y'all know I like characters, lot of fun to be around, as most of you know, I too am a character.)
I had a former student, now ex-friend on Facebook question my sexuality.
They said....
Called another man "handsome" Got a cat. ( As I've said, never had a cat before, he's sweet, He is literally MY cat, but still a cat.) Got a thing for clothes. And I do have LGBT friends. And have had them since college. Ate lunch at Kampus Korner at LU every day my sophomore with a literal couple. To them, it adds up that I am gay....( In the 1970s, Kampus Korner had a chicken fried steak sandwich that was the best I've ever eaten. They also had lamb kebabs. And I do like lamb. My Scottish-English-Ulster heritage coming out. This is a guy who had lamb's liver and chips(fries) when he was in Northern Scotland a couple of times. )

Hate to disappoint you, but as my late great-grandmother would say, " He likes the wimmens."
Look, I grew up fairly religious, never mind I got into trouble when I was in school, but never was one of a cool guys around girls. I was lucky to find a girl to date. No fooling, the first year I was married, I would look over at my still asleep wife and say to myself, " Man, I'm actually getting to sleep with a girl."
Sorry, I disappoint you, but I like girls, and yes, I have have gay/lesbian friends. They're probably smarter, cooler, and funnier than you.
- Finally, while Buna only lost 4 students in the latest Buna High School census for the UIL, at least once a week I hear from a parent(s) that want to get their children, mostly younger ones, out of Buna Schools. And as I have said previously, these are Buna people.
They are parents, being very quiet, very stealth, about the move.
There are HS parents who want to move their kids, but can't for a reason I will discuss in a future blog.
And yesterday an event occurred that I will also discuss in a future publication. Just made me mad.
It reminded me, that a school district once again is a "government entity." It will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat.
I know people get all upset because I get negative about the school district, but I hear shit I cannot talk about for fear of that person involved receiving retribution. And I know most of you have a blind spot for whatever reason for the school.
And I know most of you didn't go through a situation like Magnolia ISD did when I was there....

> The entire student body walked out in protest over the threat of no extra curricular activities. They all were expelled for 5 days. I went to work and had no kids in my class. It was covered by KHOU, KTRH, KTRK Radio-TV stations.
> We had a student hang himself in the bathroom. The district blamed a para-professional( scapegoat) for a nonsensical reason and let her go. She sued and won.
> An HVAC contractor fell through the roof in my room on top of a student. I was sued. And the district threw me under the bus. Luckily, the HVAC company insurance covered. ( I left the district in May. And went to divinity school-)
After seminary, I needed a job and got on at Dayton, and while it was better, you watched your back. And I loved Dayton. And there were some nutty times there..... My drive just killed me. Beaumont to Dayton is over 65 miles, one way. We tried to get a home in Nome and in those days, it couldn't be done. But, it is still just a job.
Yes, there are good teachers in the Buna District. Yes, they care about their kids.
Hell, even though I was at times rough on y'all, I cared about the Buna kids, hell, I still do.
But, it is a job. They will let you go for whatever reason.
And the district doesn't understand, we are private citizens now. I'll explain in a future publication.
Cynical? Yes, but the world is often an evil place.
